MSIE: Hijack Click event to copy a file. ("that's all" is end of file if you are in a hurry) [tested] Win98(CN version) MSIE v6 (CN version) { SP1 Q324929(MS02-068) Q328970(MS02-066) } [demo] at http://www.crosszone.org/did.asp or clik.to/liudieyu ==> HijackClk-MyPage section. [exp] a click event consists of mousedown and mouseup. between mousedown and mouseup, moving the active window will turn the click event to a drag&drop event. in MSIE: dragging a link from webpage and drop it in a FileExplorer will create a link file in FileExplorer. dragging an image from webpage and drop it in a FileExplorer will copy the "image.src" file to FileExplorer. (even if the "image.src" file is not a valid image file(an HTM file, etc)) that's all. [how] jelmer already used HijackClick to generate drag&drop event at http://kuperus.xs4all.nl/security/ie/xfiles.htm i just use it for a different purpose. [BTW]
